Cookie policy

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version, available at /legal/cookies, prevails.

This policy explains how OPTIMO TECH S.A.S. uses cookies and similar technologies on the website https://optimotech.app. It complements the Privacy policy, which describes the Data Controller, the purposes of processing and the rights you can exercise.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits or between pages. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage (localStorage) or measurement tags, serve comparable functions. In this policy we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

The first time you visit the site, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. Necessary cookies always operate, because without them the site cannot work securely.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2. By default, all consent signals (analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization) are denied. Until you accept them, Google Tag Manager does not fire Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insight Tag or HubSpot tracking, and their cookies are not written. Only after you accept are the signals updated to “granted” and the corresponding tags loaded.

3. Cookies we use

3.1. Necessary

They enable the basic operation and security of the site. They do not require consent.

Name Provider Purpose Duration
ot-consent (localStorage) Óptimo Tech Stores your choice in the cookie banner so you are not asked on every visit. Until you delete it or change your choice
__cf_bm Cloudflare Distinguishes legitimate traffic from bots as part of network protection. 30 minutes
cf_clearance Cloudflare Remembers that the browser passed a security check. Up to 1 year, depending on configuration
Turnstile cookies Cloudflare Verify that a form submission is made by a person, without visual challenges. Session

3.2. Analytics

They help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are only enabled if you accept them.

Name Provider Purpose Duration
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes visitors pseudonymously. 2 years
_ga_<id> Google Analytics 4 Maintains session state for the analytics property. 2 years
_clck Microsoft Clarity Keeps the Clarity user identifier and preferences. 1 year
_clsk Microsoft Clarity Groups page views into a single session. 1 day

3.3. Marketing

They measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and link visits to the requests we receive. They are only enabled if you accept them.

Name Provider Purpose Duration
_gcl_au Google Ads Measures conversions originating from ads. 90 days
li_sugr LinkedIn Browser identifier for campaign measurement. 90 days
bcookie LinkedIn Browser identifier. 1 year
lidc LinkedIn Data center selection and routing. 1 day
UserMatchHistory LinkedIn Identifier syncing for ad measurement. 30 days
AnalyticsSyncHistory LinkedIn Records the last sync with LinkedIn. 30 days
hubspotutk HubSpot Associates visits with the contact who submits a form. 6 months
__hstc HubSpot Records visits, timestamps and number of sessions. 6 months
__hssc HubSpot Tracks sessions for visit counting. 30 minutes
__hssrc HubSpot Indicates whether the browser was restarted, to delimit sessions. Session

Durations are those reported by the providers and may change depending on their configuration.

3.4. Cookieless analytics

The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures traffic in aggregate without setting cookies or using persistent identifiers. It does not allow a person to be tracked across sites or visits.

4. International transfers

The providers of analytics and marketing cookies are located in the United States. By accepting them, you authorize the transmission of the corresponding data to that country under the terms of the Privacy policy.

5. How to change your choice

You can change your decision at any time using the “Preferencias de cookies” (Cookie preferences) link in the footer of every page of the site. That link reopens the banner, where you can accept or reject the optional categories. If you withdraw consent, the tags stop loading from then on; cookies that have already been written can be deleted from your browser.

6. How to delete cookies in your browser

All browsers let you view, block and delete cookies from their settings, usually in the privacy or site data section. See your browser’s help (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) for the exact steps. Note that if you clear the site’s storage, your choice saved in ot-consent is also removed and the banner will be shown again. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms from being submitted.

7. Changes

If we add new tools or the cookies described here change, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again.

For any questions about this policy, write to [email protected].
